Brain Global Neurology I: support for pro bono teaching and research

In 2017, the Guarantors of Brain launch a new funding scheme to support neurologists from the UK in pro bono work towards teaching and research in low income countries. Awards of up to £5000 will be considered, to cover travel and accomodation expenses, and a contribution towards loss of salary if the work is taken as unpaid leave from the consultant's Hospital or University.

It is anticipated that most visits will be in the range of two to four weeks, but contact us to discuss your proposal and we will provide guidance and feedback before a formal application. Applications will be considered twice a year, with deadlines on 20th February and 20th September. The application must be submitted electronically as a single PDF document. Please ensure uploaded PDFs do not have restricted permissions or are password protected.
